More than 500 students participating with the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra now have a beautiful, inspiring, and permanent space for rehearsal and camaraderie. Serving kids ages 5-18, the new building on East Washington Avenue sits in a vibrant arts neighborhood in downtown Madison and is poised to become a hub for youth arts in the city.
It’s 6:30 AM on the cusp of a short window of time to create as many beautiful and resonant images as possible. We only have access to our site interiors from 7-9 AM and we’re working to create a few exterior looks prior to this window. Peer inside to see the work we created.
With a mixture of educational spaces, offices, conference rooms, MEP systems, and laboratory space, ISU’s VDL offered a diverse selection for photography. The facility was on the precipice of students starting classes and we would not be permitted to photograph after that point, so we had a tight timeline for production and limited numbers of folks to include in our imagery. With the help of a few students and the production crew standing in, we were able show the function and scale of each space and how Strang’s design intent helped create an optimal educational VDL facility. FEH Design has trusted Crimson Sun Studios to capture and photograph their finished projects all across Wisconsin for a number of years, including libraries, public spaces, and businesses. See the architectural photography Crimson Sun Studios created for Zebradog to share this design success at the UW Health Transplant Center with the world. The primary goal of this space is to engage visitors both in their arrival and navigation of the center, and with the selfless donors who have helped save lives through the years. We show use and function of the design by having people interact with Zebradog’s unique design elements. This shines even deeper in video, where the addition of time and motion is added to visual elements in bringing the story of function and accessibility to the viewer. Bright and early, I arrive on-location meeting the marketing director and lead project architect from Iconica. We’re photographing Radiance Skin Therapy & Laser Center in Madison, WI. The space, formerly occupied by a restaurant, has been completely transformed through beautiful design and quality craftsmanship. The crew and I tour the space and build our shot list for what will get photographed. I see beautiful, bright walls, matte black accents, color gradients, an Andy Warhol selfie wall, captivating art, and countless other design elements that have all been brought together to create a welcoming, sophisticated space.
The Middleton Chamber Bogey Boogie Golf Outing is a premier golfing experience in Dane County. The popular annual event is held at Pleasant View Golf Course every July with over 300 golf enthusiasts taking part in 18 holes of golf. Each year provides lots of fun with games, hole contests, and networking! This year was no different, with a full cast of foursomes, great lunch, fun games put on by a number of the hole sponsors, delicious tacos in the evening, great networking throughout the day, and awarding of the beautiful trophy at the end fo the day!
